My game crashes to the XMB almost every other game.
I will be playing normally, then the screen goes black, the little white blip appears in the top right corner a few times, then it goes back to the PS3 start menu as if I hit "quit game".
Prior to this happening, there are no FPS drops or latency. I have adjusted default resolution settings for the PS3, checked the disc for physical damage, reset my router, adjusted the Network Smoothing Factor and ensured that the system is not running hot or overheating. Nothing works.
I have never seen a PS3 game crash to the XMB. This is very odd. The game is actually really good when its working, but this error is seriously damaging my experience and has caused an outrageous disconnect rate.

I wish it automatically went back to the xmb (ps3) i have to actually hold ps button down, then select quit game the wait for game to quit , then wait for xmb select ps button then reselect battlefield and thru the whole loaading sequence for that then hit start multiplayer
how many people when the initial load game get the "you have been disconnected from the server" on the initial time (showing battelog screen) loading in to the game??
