BF4 ps3 to ps4 install the download version from disk

Question

hi i bought bf4 for my ps3 in the psn a while ago, today me and my brother got the ps4 and he bought the bf4 disc version.

do i have to download the 36GB version, or can i just use his disk for the install?

and yes i already bought the 10,- update from the ps3 - ps4 in the PSN.

So I tried this and when I put the ps3 disc in the ps4 consolse it lets me go to menu but only do campaign and it says 75% completed so I can't do multiplayer, anyways try it out
