Hey. I haven't played BF4 for over a decade and decided to redownload it for PC. I am not a very techy person but this is driving me crazy.
I am constantly getting this error when trying to add Battlefield 4. I have tried reinstalling multiple times, allowing it through my firewall, etc. Any tips :(?

That error usually means PunkBuster (EA’s old anti-cheat software) isn’t running properly or can't communicate with the game/server. Try to manually Update/Reinstall PunkBuster

Allow PunkBuster Through Your Firewall
Make sure PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe are allowed through:
Go to Control Panel > Windows Defender Firewall > Allow an app or feature.
Make sure both .exe files are allowed on Private and Public networks.
Allow them in your antivirus if it’s separate (like Norton, Bitdefender, etc.).
