BF4 crashing on Series X
loved the bf6 open beta so much i decided to download bf4 again. for some reason anytime i join a server, while my headset is turned on, i crash to the dashboard. if my headset isn't on, it loads just fine and i can play the game. anyone ever experience this? anyone have a solution? these seems so **bleep** weird to be happening while playing a 12 year old game on the newest xbox console.
Battlefield 4 Steam gift, Account is linked to an unknown email
I've got 2 accounts 1 is my brothers and the other I use for myself, Account 1 is linked to Steam 1 account 2 which was recently gifted Battlefield 4 premium is linked to an unknown account and I cannot gain access to it to remove it, However its my account. I've looked everywhere to contact support but EA has no easily accessible way to create a ticket or even contact someone who can help. ANYWHERE, I've looked for multiple hours on a few different occasions and cannot for the life of me find anywhere to contact someone. It's BEYOND frustrating as its my account and can't do anything to resolve it, or even get in touch with someone who is able to help.... Can a rep PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me a way to contact someone or give me a hand in removing this linked account and giving me access to MY ACCOUNT PLEASE! I've tried almost every available online solution, yet still i cannot play the game for the past month or so, i cant join any server and every time i try i get an error message that say "you have to connection to the session" I've tried to open my ports and close them/ DMZ DNS literally everything and nothing works all i want to do i play and i cant anymoreLost control from Steam deck
Hello, was playing B4 on my Steamdeck using my deck as control and everything was working fine but suddenly my controls for the game just switched to Keyboard and mouse. Controller settings are set to Gamepad + joystick in the game properties and the Overlay is Steamdeck by default. The proton option is on, yet I can not reverse the controls to my deck. Any clues?
False PunkBuster GUID Global Ban after 3 years of absence (BF3 & BF4)
Hello EA Community and Support Team, I am writing this post because I am completely at a loss and need some advice or help from the Community Managers. I haven't played the game in about 3 years. Recently, I wanted to jump back in for a round of Battlefield, only to find out that I have received a global GUID ban from PunkBuster that affects both Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 on my account. I have been playing shooter games for as long as they exist and I have never used a cheat in my life. In fact, I have a long history in the community and used to be an admin on some of the most well-known servers across multiple games, including official admin duties for Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. My stats are completely transparent. I have played over 7,800 hours in BF3 and more than 1,000 hours in BF4 without a single issue. My BF4DB profile is 100% clean with a 0% cheat score. Account Details: In-Game Name: Pr-Guard GUID: 5b8eff45 BF4DB Profile: https://bf4db.com/player/522373658 Since I am completely clueless about what caused this, I can only guess that it might be a false positive related to the official software/driver for my Patriot "Viper Gaming Mouse" which I installed after freshly reinstalling my Windows 10 OS. However, this is pure speculation on my part as I am completely at a loss. I have already tried to submit a ticket to Even Balance, but they are completely unresponsive. Is there any way an EA Community Manager can forward this case or pass my clean history to Even Balance? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Hello everyone, I have a problem with Battlefield 4 Premium Edition on PC. The game launches normally and I can access the main menu without any issues. However, whenever I try to start the campaign or join any multiplayer server, the game gets stuck on the loading screen forever. It never finishes loading, and I have to force close the game using Task Manager. I have already tried the following: - Repaired the game through the EA App. - Reinstalled and tested PunkBuster successfully. - Cleared the EA App cache. - Updated my NVIDIA graphics drivers. - Deleted the Battlefield 4 folder in Documents to reset the game settings. - Restarted my PC. - Disabled overlays. My PC specifications: - Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 - 16 GB RAM Has anyone experienced this issue before or knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
