My server on PS4 gets locked daily and I can't change the map rotation or game mode unless I contact EA and have the server reset. Why is this ?
Apparently if you have 20 or more people in the ban list it glitches the server. So I cleared out the ban list and the server is good now.
Community ManagerThis is not something we're seeing any significant reports on, sorry to hear it's affecting your rental server. Did our Live-Support issue you a new server? If they only reset it and it's still happening, please reach out to our EA Advisors and have them issue you a new server to see if that clears this up for you.

I am having this problem right now. Google search led me here. I have talked to EA. And I have no solution for me.
Hey mate, im having similar issues with the Aussie CQB mix. I was changing the server description every round to update a tally. Now both the server description and tje map rotation is locked and it wont change even if the server is empty. Please help! A lot of people rely on this server to play dlc content.

But that is not correct what the OP/solution stated here. We run several (PlayStation BF4) servers in our group and most servers typically have 50-80 players on their current ban list. No problems at all.
We are all aware that we can max have 100 players on the current ban list, which is a sad and silly limitation from EA programmers, as we unfortunately come across more confirmed glitchers, who all repeat coming back again and again on the specific maps they prefer to glitch on (here again, that is sad behavior in itself... And sad that EA are not proper serious to permanently ban such players off for good!). But at least the full 100 slots on the ban list works well and does not influence the server performance negatively if filled up.
To @operator762 , @KillaKush314 , @MavericksPRS and @santeria318 , please be aware that if you get a new server box assigned by EA Support, then typically your existing list of player favorites may be lost if you decide to get a new server box, as EA Support can no longer guarantee to transfer those to a new physical server hardware location.
