This just happened to me as well. Yesterday I had to stop playing at the point in the South China Sea mission where your squad first enters the Titan through the breach in the hull. When I came back to the game later in the day, my save returned me to that point just fine. I then played straight through to the Tashgar mission where your squad agrees to blow up the dam in exchange for a ride and quit the game for the night. Today I return to the game expecting to once again pick-up where I left off, only to discover that I am all the way back to the entrance to the Titan! No progress that I had made after that point was saved, and after looking-up the missions list and discovering how close I was to completing the single-player campaign, I cannot help but feel infuriated, and the fact that no representatives from either EA or DICE have had the common courtesy to respond to any of the four pages of posts about the problem only compounds my anger! From what I have read, the majority of us on here are playing on next gen systems, which are supposed to represent the future of gaming, yet something so simple as making campaign saves function properly isn't worth addressing? As a professional software QA tester, I run into bugs every day and log them for the devs to look into and fix, and when primary functionality is effected, such things become a priority to fix. However, it looks to me like EA/DICE cares more about bottom line profits than standard functions, because when I see patch after patch cater solely to multi-player and paid DLC, while those of us who enjoy the single-player experience get ignored, that sends up a lot of red flags. The unfortunate truth here is that multi-player is where the money is, because these companies know full well that players will pay for new maps, weapons, gear, etc. over and over for years to come, long after they've played through the never changing single-player campaign, and that is why we have no customer service responses after SIX MONTHS OF COMPLAINTS! EA/DICE, it is time to stop ignoring us and fix your game. We all paid $60+ and deserve to be heard and acknowledged.
