BF4 veteran pack

Is your Battlefield Bad Company 2 copy registered with the same Ea account you're using for playing Battlefield 4?

What are actually the criteria for getting the BF4 Veteran package released?

I assumed that you needed to have acquired and registered a BFx game with EA prior to your purchase and registration of your BF4 game.

So essentially, it is not possible after the fact to buy other products of the BFx family after you have already bought the BF4 and then get the BF4 Veteran package released retrospectively?

Aka, that you started playing BF1 or BFV after you played BF4, will not result in you getting the Veteran package released in the BF4 game.

Can somebody confirm please?

This is not at all accurate. You can start playing BF4 then play another BF title afterwards and once the system sees the other game it will unlock the veteran rewards.  Since mid BF4 the system has been hit or miss so the OP may have to contact customer support to have his issue corrected.

OK @ragnarok013 , so that means that I am still unjustly missing my Veteran-Knife in BF4 !?   ;o)

The only weapon in the total game that I do not have.

I have both BF1 and BFV after the BF4, so it should have popped up, if I understand your message correct?

Hi @ragnarok013 , I just spoke with several senior Battlefield veterans, and they all said same thing:  You need to have played a Battlefield game that was released prior to BF4 to get the Veteran package in the BF4 game.  You will not get it 'after the fact' by later playing other Battlefield games that were released after BF4.

You appeared very certain in your answer above, but can I ask you please also to ask around the sources that you may have around you to confirm ?

Hi @EA_Blueberry , I only have one single BF4 and EA account.  Ever.  And only one single PSN account also.  And they are both the same actually.  So absolutely no question about other accounts having been mixed up in my soldier track record and awards schemes...

In order to get the Battlefield 4 veteran packs you need to have Battlefield 3 Premium Edition and need to play the game at least once. At least that was solution in my case.

dont mean to necro but i have this issue and haven't gotten it as of yet, have prem for bf3 and played it to no avail even the ea help guys couldn't give me the veteran pack
