BF4 will not launch plugin-free & crashes after attempting to join server

When I attempt to launch battlefield 4 using plugin-free battlelog, it says that an update is required. If I then go to origin and repair the game or check for updates it say's that the game is up to...

    Ok, I got some good news: I fixed it somehow.

    Here's what I did:

    • uninstalled firefox and reinstalled firefox
    • uninstalled all visual C++ redistributables I had installed
    • reinstalled all visual C++ redists for 64 bit
    • installed .NET framework 4.6 upgrade
    • uninstalled and reinstalled origin
    • removed battlelog web plugins again and turned on plugin-free launching
    • reboot machine

    Launched BF4 and it's working all of a sudden. I don't know what out of all of that fixed it, but I have the feeling it was the .NET framework 4.6 update. Hope this information helps and thanks alot for your help!

what do all of these commands do? and why do we rerun it if there are no errors?

Yes, I have tried other browsers. same result, except in chrome battlelog plugins don't work at all ☹️

@Simcra01 If you read it fully it is to fix any windows dlls and windows files all it is going to do if no errors is tell us windows is not helping to make the issue. If errors then it will try to fix it and you know windows is helping to make the issue you have.

Edit... I use chrome plug in free no issues at all so strange :/

      @Simcra01 You can not have programs or web pages open to do this stop it and read steps fully lol

        two attempts at sfc /scannow, both times found corrupt files but was unable to fix some, trying alternate method.
