BF4 will not start in any possible way ???

(i'am sorry if my writing is not zo good but i'am dutch so forgive me ;-) )

windows 7

intel pentium p6100 2.6ghz

4gb RAM

64 bit

AMD ATI radeon HD6470

I just bought BF4 , installed it on mij laptop correctly with the 3 disc and everething was ok .

i want to play and click on play in origin and it wont work .

i clickt on the symbol of BF4 (not in origin) - nothing

the same for symbol BF4 (64bit) - nothing

i completly removed everyting and reinstalled it - no results

i have updated java , my grafhics card and my processor drivers

then i see here on post of others and already dit this :

-Tried to start BF4.exe both in x64 and x32 mode - no result

-Tried to "repair" BF4 in Origin client  - no result

-Uninstalled BF4 and re-installed  - no result

-Set Origin client to close after game launch - no result

  • Install the Direct X from the game's directory Eg: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist
  • Find the DXSetup file and install it but be sure you are connected to the internet while doing this. This way you will update your DxDiag.

If this is not working, try to reinstall Redist 2012 and 2013, restart your PC and see if any of this is working. - No Result ...

  • Log off from Origin and close it (kill the process from Task Manager if it's not possible to close the Origin)
  • You need to activate the option that allows you to see hidden folder and files (Type "Folder Options" from Windows Search bar-> Go to "View" Tab and look for Always show hidden files and folders Option and check it)
  • Press Ok/Apply and close the pop up window
  • Now please go to the Program Data folder from your Windows partition, most times is the :C Drive and then delete the folder called "Origin" (EX: C:\ProgramData\Origin)
  • Now, navigate to the Users Folder and inside that folder you should have Your Computer name Folder. 
  • Click on that folder and then look for the AppData folder 
  • Open the folder and look for a Local folder 
  • Inside that folder you should see a folder called ORIGIN
  • Delete that folder too
  • Once you delete those two Origin folders please navigate to Recycle Bin Folder and empty it.

After you did this troubleshooting/steps please log back to Origin and try to join a game and see if it works. - No Result !!!

I'am realy dissiponted that it is so hard to just play a game that you bought and have so many problems ,

 anyone now what the problem is or have a solution for me please ????

    i have the same problem... one update i will be fine then i will not be able to log on the game at all for a week or so until the next update that allows me to play ... i have purchased the highest package on this game (big mistake) i truelly believe that i should be paid back all the money i have spent on this game.. because they are not providing me with the game that i bought... therefore why should i have paid for something i am unable to use... i cannot even play the campaign.. this is incredible.. between this game and the lack of ppl playing titan fall i think that origin will never be getting my money again

    Your HD6470 is below what's mentioned in the game's minimum system requirements. Without having checked I believe your processor is too slow as well. So, the reason for the game not running is not the game, it's your computer.

    if i can read what you are posting than is my system at the minimum of the required specs

    your post :

    minimum intel core 2 duo 2.4ghz

    ==>my specs :intel pentium p6100 2.6ghz (is more then minimum)

    graphics minimum :AMD RADEON HD3870

    ===>my specs : AMD RADEON HD6470 (is more then minimum )

    i apreciate your comments but i think my specs are good to play this game ,

    i know that i will have no perfect graphics but If I would play it on below normal everything should

    work nice ,so this is not the cause why the game does not work ... thats something else ...

    You might think that just because the number 6470 is higher than 3870 that then it's also faster. This is wrong. The HD64xx series is a budget series that has hardly any power and 3870 was a highend graphics card when it came out and still packs more performance than the budget cards of today. The only thing you can be pretty sure of is that a 6870 > 5870 > 4870 > 3870. However in this case 3870 > 6470.

    The P6100 CPU was 2ghz and not 2.6 ghz as you stated and even if it was I doubt it would be faster than a 2.4 ghz core 2 duo. You can't compare CPU's only on the ghz's
