BF4 won't launch
Problem: BF4 won't launch. Stuck on "Initializing" or "Joining" in the Battlelog using Mozilla Firefox. tl;dr: The .exe will not initiate. Things I have tried over the past 4 weeks totaling >12...

Hi, I dont see them on the list so worth a shot..........
-Reinstall DirectX.
1:go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist
2:Find file named DXSETUP.exe and double click it (while connected to the internet). Install it. It should update your DirectX install.
3: You might need to reboot computer first.
4: try to launch game.
-Reinstall C++ redistributables.
1:go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\vc\vc2012Update3\redist
2: Double click vcredist_x64.exe/ vcredist_x86.exe and follow onscreen prompts.
-Update your Microsoft .NET framework.

Thanks for the help, they may not have worked but hey, I got 3 more things to add to my list.
Hopefully a solution will present itself soon.

When you are trying to login to the game , when you check your Taskmanager processes is PnkBstrA.exe showing?
Only asking becasue a lot of times its just a crappy install of Punbuster that wont let the game launch. Uninstalling and a clean reinstall of Punkbuster usually fixes it.
Can you play offline? Or will the game just not work at all for you?

I was not aware I could play offline.
I am not able to play campaign or test range, so I do not think that it's a punkbuster issue.
Also, I am still able to play BF3 online without any problems.Thanks again for replying though, you are really helping me out here!
