I'm running into this problem with my BF4 on my X series X. When I try to join a server or a friends game I get booted back to the menu screen and the game closes. It's so weird because sometimes I can play and sometimes I can't. I'm using an 4k UHD monitor and have tried bringing down the resolution even turning off HDR entirely. I just wanna play BF4 but it seems I can't with the new Xbox. Is anyone else having issues with trying to play BF4 right now?
Try the hard reset first, maybe reboot your modem as well..
So I just reset my modem and hard reset xbox, but now it's saying the game is corrupted and said to Uninstall BF4. Which I am now

Any games that I'm actively playing go on the ssd
If you're playing off of a HDD and not your SSD, that might be the problem... IF the external HDD is plugged into the front USB. Had a friend who tried it in his front USB port and it would crash his games. I always plugged mine into the back and never had a problem with it.
