BF6 skipping PS4 and Xbox One. Is that a bad thing?

So will Battlefield 6 skip PS4 and Xbox One and release only on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC?    And is that not necessarily a bad thing?   The total lack of confirmation about the game's release...

Honestly I'm in two minds about BF6 potentially not coming to last gen. On one hand I'm worried I won't be able to get an Xbox Series X in time, they're in such short supply and demand is high, but on the other I can see the benefits of developing the game just for current gen.
