Tried to login to BFBC2 this morning, got the message 'failed to login to soldier' when i tried to login. This is inexcusable. This is only one of many issues. As a long time gamer. (pre asteroids and pacman) having invested thousands in hardware and software both in PC and consoles, I think I deserve the right to expect better, and communication is key to any successful relationship. The people in support are morons, at least those I have dealt with. How hard is it to update their clients. A simple look folks we have had a ....... issue. we anticipate a resumption of service..... sorry for the inconvenience. Anything less is corporate arrogance.

Guys, I've just spoken to an EA representative over the phone (EA UK phone number: 01483 463000, close at 1700 BST) and they are working hard to resolve the problem. The problem is that as stated above and in previous posts, their disk array has died, and MOST of the data has been recovered. Assuming that they back up at least once in 24 hours, you wont lose an awful lot, if you're an earlier rank, you may have gone down a rank, or if you're in the higher ranks you may find that you've lost your most recent 24 hours work, not all bad, and not completely blown out the water. It is shocking though how a company as big as EA would do maintainence on their disk arrays, you know, like we do a system hard drive test every few months just to make sure everything is tickety-boo.But they are working hard to address the situation and it should be up and running very soon *fingers are tightly crossed*

Same problem here as well and with most of my Clan , they cant login soldier either. Would be nice to get a fkn response from the people responsible for this game!!😕mileymad:

@up I think that bfbc2 is last at list to repair in EA ^^ this game don't give them profit.

I would hope that this is not at the bottom of EA's priorities. The game is still being sold for £30 for the digital deluxe edition so I would expect the same level of support as if it was a new game. I only bought this game 3 weeks ago and seeing there are other low level gamers on multiplayer besides myself, it must still be selling well. I hope this gets sorted soon. Oh well, back to BF3 until its resolved.

Yeah, I just bought this game like 3 days ago. Probably one of the best Battlefield games next to BC1. It was practically the reason for buying a brand new computer since I think the PC version is a lot more fun. I haven't been able to log on all day so far. I guess I'll see if it's up when I get off work tonight...

From what I've heard from Steam - somebody was talking to an EA rep and they have said:
"they are working on it right now and will try to have a solution to it soon"

How soon is soon? I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from not shooting anybody :P
