I am unable to proceed with the campaign after you open the hatch and drop into the water because the water keeps pushing me back and i find it impossible to swim through it. I sometimes manage to slog to the mid section somehow but then can't proceed any further while the NPC squad mates continue on.
Is there a workaround for this?

It's game breaking.
If you just keep swimming for about 10-15 minutes,the current eventually stops and you can continue. It's stupid.
I *MAY* have found something resembling a solution, but only on PC. I encountered the same bug, and I was swimming for a solid 10 minutes before I came to my senses and realized this isn't right. Alt + Tab ing from the game to my browser then back into game seemed to have fixed it. Then I had to take a left turn and the current came back, I used alt+tab again, and it was gone again. Same thing happened for the final right turn. Try alt tabbing from the game on PC and see if it fixes it. If this bug exists on consoles, I don't know what you can do :/.
DICE TeamStill not fixed alt tabbing back and forth works but that's a **bleep**ty fix come on dice literally can't continue on the campaign properly
