Campaign lost & Settings reset

Hi Folks

Logged on yesterday to play and had to start the campaign intro! Bypassed it and realised my campaign has been reset, though got all achievements and codex, which still show up.

Not too much of a worry tbh, but what really is a pain in the butt is jumping into MP, I suddenly couldn't turn, fire crouch: all my settings returned to default. 

I've put a fair bit of effort and commitment into this frustrating game and this may have been the straw to break the camels back.

Gonna spend time recalibrating the settings now, but any help most appreciated, though not holding my breath for a even a response.
