Can i somehow get an xbox series s/x controller to work in BF3 on PC?

Hi!I'm looking for a solution to get an Xbox Series S/X Controller (1914) to work on Battlefield 3 PC version.After an hour spent getting all the controls bound in the settings i noticed a major inconvenience - i can either aim down the sights or shoot; can't do both of these at the same time.Additionally, the triggers are recognized as 'axis' which i'm guessing are sticks.The Xbox 360 controller worked seamlessly, so I'm curious if there is a way to get the controller to work in the game, or somehow remap the new one to make it behave like a X360 controller would.&nbsp;I know that this is an old game, but it's my favorite and i'm desperate enough to do whatever it takes.

@jointke I can verify that an Xbox 360 controller works in Battlefield 3 because a friend I play with uses one. That being said I've never done it myself.

That's a miss, unfortunately. These sites either don't work or concern the X360 controller.I'm trying to get to get the Xbox Series S/X (1914) to work with BF3.
