Cannot change emblem even after leaving platoons

I noticed in-game that I was showing my old platoon's emblem. We have disbanded, so I wanted to show my own self made emblem. Battlelog shows the correct emblem, but it wasn't in game. So I logged in...

I figured it out.
I had to actually download the companion app on an ipad, cause it's not available on android...
There it had the option to select the BF1 platoon and stop representing. I can't find this option on the web companion.
It is now showing my correct emblem.

As I said in my original post, I tried it on battlelog and it shows the correct emblem. But it is still showing my old platoon's emblem in game and on the companion app. It still shows me as representing a platoon I am no longer a part of.
