Cannot connect to BF-HL servers PS4, please help I am at a loss.

I have not had any problems with BF-HL or BR-4 but as of yesterday afternoon I cannot connect to the EA servers. I get an error that says something along the lines of "you must be signed into PSN and EA's servers for online features" I have uninstalled and reinstalled BFHL and rebooted my router and Modem. I noticed I can play BF 4 but it also says I am offline on the "battle log
" I also checked my ports and NAT as well as renewed my licenses and all that and I doubt the router could be the problem since I have not touched my router or setup and it was all working fine. Also I can get into the battle log just fine on my iPhone and iPad

Here are my thoughts.

my EA-origin account is down for some reason.

EA updated some server settings pertaining to ports(doubtful since most everyone would be having issues right now).

Perhaps I need to delete the local data? is that possible on the PS4? or does that happen when you delete the whole game?(already did that)

The only thing I can use to narrow anything down is the fact that I cannot sign into the battle log on BF4 too, is it possible that HL requires the battlelog/EA origin account to be logged in? if so how could I re-log in? I have reset my password and will see if I get a prompt when I am back home.
