Hey guys, just updating this with pictures so you know where to change the settings: Kudos to @ErrikGaming and @Its_Travis_199 for figuring this out - marking as solution for visibility. 1. In-game, go to "Settings - Gameplay - Basic". The second option will be "Player-Created content" - switch it to "Show". 2. On your XBOX One Settings, go to Account, then choose "Privacy & online safety" 3. From there, select "Adult defaults" - becoming more social is a bonus there. 5. Re-launch game 6. Hit "LB" 7. Join or create Platoon 8. ??????? 9. Profit And now go have fun with Platoons - see you on the Battlefield.

I think you have to wait for next patch.

Tbh at least u can check platoons menu in mobile app 🙂

Had same problem. Changed my XBone security settings to "Adult" as baseline. Platoons menu appeared.
Changed security settings back one by one until Platoons option disappeared again. Then changed that last setting back to bring it back on. But of a pain, but I was able to make it work and create a Platoon.

I'm in the mobile app and I don't see any platoon menu. Where is it?

Opposite problem for me now. Works on XBone but not available on Companion App, even after fresh reinstall (cache wipe, then reinstall). Oh well, at least I can access it from the game. 🙂

@Its_Travis_199 I've been trying to get this fix for the past three days. Nine EA Representatives have tried to help me with no success, some of them sounded like they didn't know sh!t about the new update and the platoon option.

I have power cycle my xbox1, reinstalled the game, deleted persistent storage, cleared cloud save...

It is something related to my gamertag. I was able to create a second account and I can see the damn option on the sidebar menu, but with my primary account I'm not able.

Besides all the bad things going on with this spring update, this is the one that's been irritating me the most.

Guys, i found something now as i checked my BF1 Menue.
That's maybe your issue why it doesn't show the Platoons at all.

Please follow the steps, check it out and let me know here if that was your problem!

- Start at BF1 Main menue
- click on "Options"
- choose "Gameplay" settings
- and then the second from Top should be "Content from Players" option. (make sure that's set on "Show" and not "Hide"!)

Thank you for looking into it and asking a DICE dev.

I followed your instructions and that option was set to SHOW. :-(

Hope they find a fix.

Funny thing is that with a new gamertag I created, it works. And as a workaround I used to log in with my second profile, and then switch over to my main. But that is not working anymore.

Ok, sat that it wasn't the problem. But if you wanna test it as well, just set to "Hide" and you'll see it doesn't show the Platoons anymore in the left menue Tab. And set it back to "Show" and they are back!
That's how i tested it.
