You can use the realmware BF4 settings tool to change your graphics settings. http://battlefield.realmware.co.uk/bf4-settings-editor/
Read the FAQ if you have any doubts. http://battlefield.realmware.co.uk/bf4-settings-editor/faq
For your issue itself, what solutions have you tried? Have you tried repairing the game via. origin? Or delete the BF4 folder from 'My Documents'? Note that deleting the folder from my documents would reset all your in-game settings (sensitivities,HUD,keybinds, audio, video)

thanks i'll take a look at that tool.
Yes i tired repairing the game thru orgins, but it didn't solve it. Deleting the PROFSAVE_profile was the only way for me to make the game not crash anymore after using custom video setting. ATM, I have to stick with low setting preset.
EDIT: i tired the tool and it's the same, the game crashes. It seems to not allow me to do any kind of custom video options; like some options i want high and others i want low etc...
I think i found out the problem, it has to do with Anti-aliasing. game doesn't crash at all if i set it to off. Maybe my gpu runs our of vram when it is on.

That could be it. I'd recommend you playing the game on low settings, at least on multiplayer. Higher settings look pretty but they fill up your screen with unnecessary effects that put you at a disadvantage. Turn everything down to low except for mesh quality.
I did more research, it seems to be a driver issue according to all the threads I found. Alot of the cases were HD 5000 and 6000 series video card too. The solutions seems to be go back to using 13.12 drivers....
