I've installed the old BF BC2 from disk on my new computer. When trying to run, it asks for update version 515195 (my version) to the latest version 795745. When trying to do so, I got the eabove message.
I'am administrator on my machine, so why doesn't it work? Any idears that might help here?

Do you have the game on the EA app or just the CD?

it's on disk. I could install it easyly from there. Problem is accouring when trying to start and run the installation.
Have you tried adding the game to the EA app? I believe you can still enter the product code in the EA app to get a digital copy. Most likely you are not able to run the CD version because of updates abhikaam01.
there is an update issue as I discribed in my post initialy. What I was wondering about is the admin problem. Why is that a problem while I'm admin on my computer and what can I do about it?
I've tried the code in the EA app and it is accepted but the game is apearing in my libary.
If you are able to see the game inside of the EA library, try to reinstall it.
