I have been searching the net to try to find a solution. I can't find any option to live chat with someone, the only time the option appeared it said the live chat was not available (it only appeared once, and I don't even know what I did). After that I have not found the option to talk to any support, not by email, phone, or chat. How come?? even though the only help we get with changing our email is to do this, but that option actually does not exist!!!!
EA I am sorry, but this just makes me not want to buy any of your products. You guys clearly do not respect your customers, and you guys are shooting yourselves in the foot by having this crappy customer support, and not listening to you customers at all.

First, have you gone to profile.ea.com using your existing credentials ( email and PSW?). I believe that if you are able to do login there, you will be able to change your email.
I came across these articles (below) -which might shed some light on your issue.
Normally, I am not at this Forum, but I can still feel your frustration as we on Mass Effect 3 can relate.
Please remember, though, that this site and all the others,are not manned by EA Tech Support or Customer Support.These sites are normally manned by fellow gamers trying hard to assist one another the best we can.

Here are the steps for updating some of your account information on EA.com:- Head to https://www.origin.com/us/login
- Login with your Origin (EA) Account e-mail and password.
- If you are already logged in, you will be able skip this step.

- Your Origin ID
- Your First and Last Name
