Can't connect to EA server on ps4 to play bf4 online

I just bought bf4 digital on ps4. the game installed correctly but when trying to connect to EA to play online, a box popup saying : "Unable to connect to EA online". My PS plus is active, and i can play any other online games. I checked on EA website and i can see that my old xbox 360 gamertag is linked to my EA account but i don't see my PSN id. I never played any EA games on my ps4. could it be that my PSN is not linked with my EA account ? thx

    I know this problem, i had it too.

    You need to synchronise your psn and ea account manually. I guess, bf4 client on ps4 has a broken link.

    I know this problem, i had it too.

    So simple.. a big thank you to you my friend. since I did try one more reinstallation i need to wait until the game download to try it but I just linked my accounts on EA like you said so. And it worked just fine. As soon as the installation is done ill give you some feedback. thank you very much !

    today's date is 2019 January 25. the same thing happened to me on the ps4. here's what I did. someone said to connect the EA and Origin account. so i went to the EA site and logged in and it said they were both connected. i then went to the origin website and logged. then i restarted the ps4 loaded bf4 up and it starts working. 

    you can also go to the EA support site and ask them to give you a call.

    @Max94Arkhip I tried doing that but it says account ineligible, I’m so unbelievably confused and frustrated. Can you help?
