I've done everything that's been posted trying to fix this error and I still get the error. Not sure if it's my computer or if BF4 is just not compatible with windows 8.1. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, origin, and have done the installs of everything in the installs folder within battlefields game folder. I've looked it all up and have tried everything that's been suggested. anything else I can do?
Read this page my 4th post it was how I fixed every error I had in BF4 It took some time as it has a few steps but it was the fix for me and a few others so far, Like you on Win8.1 my fix is my 4th post down. If it is the fix for you then give it a XP if it worked so others know it works as well mark your post solved so others know to try it. I just posted it in the formes in the last few days as I had to test it and not crash and it has passed so I posted it. I think I had your error as well lol I had them all it seems lol Anyway good luck if you need help just post.
