cant play battlefield 3 due to error

Question

Hi. I recived a free game from EA when i got a copy of the new SimCity. I chose Battlefield 3 and I downloaded it last night and installed it as well. I tried to play it this morning and i keep getting this error.

Invalid License. Reason code = Missing DLL: dxgi.dll Function: CreateDXGIFactory1.

I have no idea what this means and was wondering what i need to do. If I am unable to play it is there a way for me to switch games then? Please help.

Seems like your download failed. Go to your origin library, right click BF3 and select "repair install", if this does not work you might have to redownload it or ea is messing around with the free sim city games. Hope it works for you anyways 😉
