Cant play bf4 in x64
Hello all,
after trying the mantle patch which wasnt that good and brought many bugs. So i decided to install the stable driver again for my graphic card. After this my game wont start in x64 just in x86 it only shows at the bottom of the Browser Join server and after 10 seconds the it dissapears and nothing else happens. At the Taskmanager bf4 is also shown for 10 seconds and then it dissapears. I reinstalled Punkbuster, the browser addon to start the game and Netframework. Nothing helped me. Please EA help me with this problem its frustraiting.
OS is 64 bit.
Did you change your graphics settings back before removing the driver and installing the normal release?
If not go to C:\Users\"username"\Documents\Battlefield 4\settings, make a backup of PROFSAVE_profile and then delete it.
It could be you cannot start it as it still wants to use mantle. As mantle needs 64 bits, the problem does probably not show up in 32 bitsas it has no mantle support.
