Battlefield Bad Company 2 reedem code

Hi, since it's absolutely impossible to contact EA support in this day and age (WTF), it seems I have to write a post on this forum.

I have my old copy of BF Bad Company 2 I'd like to redeem so I can download it from the EA app. When I type in my key and gets to choose the Digital Deluxe Edition, it just says error and points me towards the old Sims 3 activation page. The key is unused and the page seems to recognize it.

Can I please get help from support in any way?
