Can't play multiplayer with friends Battlefield 3

Can anyone please explain to me how am I supposed to join a game with my friends so we can all be together at least in one team ? Or is it impossible because EA makes games for players who have no fr...

Thx for the answer. 

We have created a party because we use in game voice chat. But it still puts us in a different teams. I remember that there used to be a "join as a team" button but cant find it anywhere now
