Solved

Character will not stop spinning while looking up.

No matter what I do my character is stuck looking up and spinning to the left. I have tried repairing the game, looking for a process called LManager.exe (don't have it), have made sure no controllers are plugged in, talked to tech support to no avail, remapped all keys. No success. Any suggestions?

Huzzah! I have discovered the issue after days of confusion! At one point I had set up a ps3 controller to act like an Xbox controller, which created a vjoy compliant "phantom" device in device manager. Even though nothing was connected, I noticed that whenever I tried to remap the joystick keys that as soon as I clicked it it would automatically set the key and not let me do anything. That gave me the idea to check device manager to see if there was something there and found the phantom controller. I simply disabled it and everything was fine! Thanks everyone!

Are you sure its not a hardware issue? Is this the only game this happens in?

Thanks for your reply. I'm pretty sure it's not hardware related. I can't get this issue to happen in any other game I have, including Skyrim, Minecraft, GTA V and others. This continues to happen EVEN when my keyboard and my mouse are unplugged.

Have you tried deleting the 'Battlefield 4' folder from My Documents? Please note that doing this will reset all your settings (sensitivities,HUD,keybinds, audio, video)
