Confused as to why Bad Company 1 and 2 are being removed from store fronts.
Yes, I know the multiplayer components are being shut down. But, unlike 1943, these games both have average length single player campaigns. And considering that EA continues to sell games like Medal of Honor Warchest (which was affected by the Gamespy shutdown) and Medal of Honor Warfighter (Which EA shut down multiplayer for 2 months ago), I don't understand why Battlefield BC1 and 2 can't be given the same treatment. I mean, since there will be no maintenance cost after the December shutdown (as far as I know) then I don't see why they couldn't leave it up and get the occasional money from customers that want to experience the campaign.
If it an issue about morality (and this is EA, it definitely is not), a discounted price tag would be reasonable.
