Solved

Connection Issue

I have been having persistent problems with losing connection to games. Just this afternoon it happened to me nearly 10 times in 90 minutes of playing. It almost always occurs in the middle of a game. I also have had it happen when I initially try and join a server.

It doesn't appear to be linked to one class, but I was playing either Engineer or Assault each time. I don't have any other internet connectivity issues; I am able to play other online games without issue persistent problems like this. I run a 1st generation xbox 360 with 120 GB hard drive. I only have vanilla battlefield 4.

For the deleting updates solution, do I only delete the title update, or should I delete all game updates?

Only delete the Title updates and check if it is working.

So, your solution worked in the beginning, but today I was unable to connect to anything--not one game. I tried both the server browser and quick match and several different game types, yet I was told that I lost my connection to every game I tried to join. Before, I was at least able to connext to a game once in a while. I retried clearing the cache and deleting the title update over again. I re-checked my router and the port forwarding is still set up.

At present, I've given up on playing Battlefield and am going to play Call of Duty instead. I hope you guys can get these issues resolved soon.

All my ports are and have been configured correctly. I cannot connect to any of the base game maps. 2nd Assault maps do load but cannot find a server with acceptable ping. Really tired of this broken game. Frustrated as heck with all the glitches and bugs but I've dealt with it. Now I can't even play the game at all?

I've been gaming since the early 80's and I've never seen such a debacle with a game as I do with BF4. EA and DICE should be ashamed. 5 months now with a broken game. Seriously? They were happy to take our money for the game and Premium memberships when they knew they had an unfinished product.

Read the forums and all you see are posts ranting just as I just did. Trust me it takes a lot for me to complain. Enough is enough!
