I also ticked the box just to check and we got the error again so it was definately this

Having the same thing on my ps4. My connection is great with any online game... Just on bfv I get this weird error recently.
I'm also having the same problem, but weirdly I can join on friends just fine. If we queue as a party into a server, it kicks me out. If I connect to a server solo, it kicks me out. But if my friends are already in a game, I can join them.
I've tried all the usual solutions. Do we have anything? I bought this game at least partly to play mindlessly solo.

I just tried it out - no dice, sadly. Interestingly, Firestorm works fine solo. It seems to be something specific to the netcode for certain game modes, and joining on a friend must bypass one of the steps that's causing a problem.
