Console stats not transffering

My friend just purchased battlefield 4 for xbox one. He was a premium member on 360 but is unable to transfer. The game is asking him to enter an origin I'd email. He entered his and it is not accepting saying it's invalid. He updated his origin SQA but that still did not resolve the issue. His gamertag is jrodwolf505.
