CPU or RAM
I have a question about which parts should i replace in the first place and why. Currently i use phenom x4 965 @ 3.9 / 4 GB ram / 760 gtx / ssd (if that matters) and play on 1680 x 1050. What trouble...

RAM
Windows uses about 2GB RAM, Battlefield uses the best part of 5GB RAM, therefore 8GB RAM is recommended for optimum performance.
If you buy a new CPU it will still be limited by the lack of RAM.
Also it won't be much faster, if any, than what you have now. Unless you overclock it in which case you might get around 500MHZ increase or about 12.5%, and you have to ask yourself if that's worth ~$300.
