Crash to desktop after menus (Win11)
As per the title.
Was fine a couple days ago. Have had both Windows 11 and NVidia updates lately. Since then, can spend a good amount of time in menus choosing a server, but as soon as you get in game it either crashes to desktop immediately or after a few seconds.
I imagine this *is* to do with Win11 or NVidia drivers and not specifically BF, but I wonder if anyone else is experiencing it or have any ideas on how to get around it (aside from rolling back windows and nvidia drivers, which is kinda pointless as they were to fix other things)
No useful info in Event Viewer at all. There is an application error, but the code is 1000 and indicates nothing apart from "yeah, it crashed"
Five times in a row now. Definitely 'an issue'.
Hey, @disposalist can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 1 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.
Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?
Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂
