Curser won't lock inside Battlefield 4. Keeps escaping to second monitor?

So, yeah

I have a problem here - recently when I've been playing Battlefield 4, my curser won't lock itself inside Battlefield 4, on my primary screen. It has always done it itself, but a few days ago, it stoped. Now, when I look enough to the right, and I shoot, the game tabs out because it thinks my cursor is on the second screen. So I click when my PC thinks the cursor is on the second screen, and the games alt tabs. How do I fix this? I have tried repairing the game and all of the DLCs, but that didn't work.

Thank you.

  • It might be an overlay causing problems. I would suggest:

    1. Disabling Origin In Game for Battlefield 4
    2. Reset all BF4 settings and Mantle cache by removing the BF4 folder located at: C:\Users\Username\Documents\Battlefield 4
    3. Perform a clean boot to make sure no other overlay program is interfeering http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
  • 1) Uninstalling BF4

    2) Reboot

    3) Open My Documents and Delete the Battlefield 4 Folder

    4) Reboot

    5) Install BF4

    Or try this after,

    Dual Monitor tools
    http://dualmonitorto...ourceforge.net/

So what does Dual Monitor Tools do? Before you start a game you will press a key combination (which you will configure below). This will lock the mouse inside the screen; it will not be able to go to any of your other monitors until you press that same key combination again. In doing this it also locks your mouse inside the game.

The program comes as a zip file and requires no installation. To use the application simply unzip it to a directory of your choice.

Step 1) Open the directory you just extracted the zip to
    Step 2) Double click SwapScreen.exe
Step 3) Right click Swap Screen next to your clock
    Step 4) Left click Options
Step 5) Left click on the “Cursor” tab
Step 6) Go down under “Lock Cursor onto screen” and click “Change”. Now select a key combination of your choice.
    Step 5) Click close.
