Delete/Insert keys NOT mappable BF4 PC

Same here except I want to use mouse wheel scroll up/down for my gadgets. No matter what, gadget 1 doesnt work.

Same problem from beta even though notes said it was fixed under PC specific fixes. :mansad:

I have these problems as well. Both the Del/Ins keys not binding, and Gadget 1 binds not working.

It seems the input procedure for assigning keys is not recognizing some keystrokes.  The 3 tired input (keyboard-mouse-joystick) setting clearly needs some troubleshooting done.

Having any keyboard mapping be hardcoded by a dev is simply laziness.  I know, I have plenty of game devs working for me.  But having the B key hard coded to bring up the console is unacceptable.  It's right in the middle of the keyboard, so no matter where you prefer to place your fingers while playing, it's going to be in reach and EXTREMELY agravating when triggered.

It sounds like the Comma Rose has mapped to Q too.  I thought it wasn't even in BF4 any more since I don't use that key.  At least you can edit the config file to remap it.

Another huge vote for this thread to be seen, this HAS to be resolved quickly DICE.

Not only I cannot bind anything to DEL and INS, but now I cannot select my gadgets!!! Whatever key I bind it to, it just won't work. I tried many. This is sooooo aggravating because I am here, wanting to play, so I go and get totally owned because I am struggling with the mouse wheel, trying to select the proper weapon / gadget.

I'm really not the type to complain, but THIS is not acceptable.

Bumping this, just to get some confirmation from a community manager it's acknowledged.

Bump. Honestly, it's 2013. Every game can let you bind any function to any key, and if not it'll say "This key is reserved". You have no such message - it just doesn't work - no feedback. Unimpressed.
