i did the entire easter egg until i went to a ranked server and got to the water tower i know i did it right cause the button showed up but my team mate was prone in front of it and i couldnt press it then it disappeared and ive been working on this for 3 days now and im kinda upset.
You can still earn the DICE LA camo, even if the keypad goes away, you can wait there again for 2 minutes and the little button will re-appear. From there just interact with it again and the keypad will show up again.
Make sure you lay prone in front of button area and make sure your not on top of it. It does time out and also once switched stand quickly and you will see a numbered touch panel..and punch code quickly as it times out also. Know if you miss it just be patient and go thru the same process again. light switch appears in 2-5 min patience is key. Your code number should remain good for you until you succeed.
