It's getting really annoying when I try to unlock a dog tag but I don't have anything to tell me what I have to do next, DICE are adding in a ton of great new content but they need to add in a progression system soon.

The Companion app tells you what is needed for each dog tag. Is there something in particular you're looking for?

@RoninpilotPlease pay attention to the dogtag task each time. The mission says very much what you need to do, and how long will it be

I believe DICE has added a tracking system for the next challenges in the near future so it should be easier for you to track items and challenges!

Travis came with the right answer the new UI was available on Jun29 with a lot tracking systems for BF1 specially the battlepack tracking.

To add to @Its_Travis_199's post, here's a quote from the update notes from June 29th:

The community missions will be shown and tracked in the UI. This will activate with upcoming Community Missions. Current missions will not be tracked.

I have not seen this tracking system for the missions ya speak of and I have the latest UI update is mine delayed? Lol or perhaps will it show up in tomorrow's update?...so stoked for new map btw!!

What I've personally done in order to keep track of my progress is like @NoxTheNib said use the companion app. I take a screenshot of my stats once a mission starts and one when I've completed the missions. I've had many issues with getting my rewards for whichever the reason may be but I ain't beat fam lol make sure I keep track on my end just incase

That was a good way, for sure. 😉

Anyways, now they added a tracker finally.
We'll see how it works when it get's active with the next upcoming Community Mission.
