Gotcha. I don't see the need myself but if it's in Battlefront then it shouldn't be impossible for them to put it in the coming game.
It would be handy. Friends and I usually lock our squad when playing because it's not so easy to differentiate each other from other squad members.
I don't see the harm in it so long as it can be toggled and or fine-tuned
