DirectX Error running Crossfire 7850s

Hi All,

I am havning no luck running BF 4 on my Crossfired 7850s. I can run the game no problem with Crossfire disabled. I thought it might just be a driver issue or something but I have reinstalled the latest beta drivers, (Tried the non beta, no help) I have reinstalled Direct X, and I have run a repair on my BF 4 installation. Nothing has helped.

I will attach the errors I have got and also my dxdiag.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here is the drop box link to my errors and dxdiag.

Cheers,

Got this error as well with 280x crossfire. It's related to the in sufficient vram. It is caused by not enough page file being allocated.

Change your pagefile from fixed value to system managed and the error should go away. Also cfx scaling is quite bad atm for me. Both cards are sitting at 40% usage and I barely break 50 fps. Single card however runs a smooth 70.

    Hi criggless.

    This WORED!! Wooo!

Now, every time I restart my page file gets set back to 1024. I think it might be Intel SSD Toolbox doing it but I cant find the setting to make it stop. Any ideas??

I have an Intel SSD as my OS drive and an OCZ Vertex as my games drive. And I have a platter drive for media and stuff.

    Cheers,

I seem to have it sorted now... Took a few reboots and now seems to be sticking with the setting I'm giving it.

Thanks for the help!! Really appreciate it.

And for the record, Im getting between 70 - 100 frames. Not much more than when I was running just 1 card. Seems you're right about the **bleep**ty scaling of CrossFire.
