DirectX Error

Guys, I'm getting the dreaded DirectX error whenever I try to join the server or SP campaign. "DirectX function "m_dxgiFactory->CreateSwapChain( m_device, &sd, &screen->swapChain.assign.Get())" fail...

    Hi guys,

    I did some digging into this and have spotted a few others that are having this problem. In my research I did come across something that has helped one or two others. Could you please try the following:

    Control panel -> Time, Language and Region -> Region -> Administrative tab

    Change Language for non-Unicode programs To English(US)

    After changing this, try to run the game again. If I'm right you should not get that DirectX error any further.

The same DirectX Error in my Radeon HD 4850

i'm so angry, i spent my whole money for this game and i can't even play....

    All DirectX error messages is gone (for AMD users with clean 13.11 9.2 Beta drivers install)! I think - DICE already fixed the servers too!

    There is some other problems in game:

    1. IMPORTANT!!! When someone revieve you - there is BUG - you stay with screen where you see SPACEBAR and MOUSE buttons (accept revieve or no) = and thats all, becouse you cant continue playing - only ALT+F4 helps and you are out of game...

    2. Levalution is working BAD - for example Shanqai map - building destoy = crash (nut not for all, i think it is for Nvidia users) and in some places there are bugs in other maps ☹️.. 

    3. IMPORTANT!!! V-SYNC problem, in BF3 all was fine with Enabled = nice 60 FPS ALL THE TIME...but in BF4 there is BUG, when V-Sync enabled = CPU speed IS NOT FULLY RELEASED!!! - its only about 65-70%, and FPS drops to ~35 sometimes... BUT video is used normally (about 60-80%) @60 FPS..

    ***When V-Sync is Disabled - all is FINE, CPU is used from 80 to 100% and FPS NEVER GOES BELOW 60..they stays from 65 to >140 and more..

    Settings - All Ultra (& 2x AA)!

    Specs:

    i5 3330s

    hd7970

    w8.1 64bit

    Please FIX V-Sync BUG, After Revieve bug (when someone shoots you in the same moment when you some one revieve you)..

    ***There is a lot of texture gliches/flickerings/coverings (black stripes/fast flickering)..

    Sorry for my english and write please these problems to DICE, i need V-Sync to work now!!! All crashes are gone - BIG THANKS TO DICE AND EA!

      

    Waiting for client patch now! <<=== AFTER NEW PATCH i have heavy texture gliches and DirectX crashes are BACK 😠 F***!

    Please COPY that bugs in DICEs forum or in place where others reports bugs.. Dont delete please this post - i think, many of you will agree with me! Admin, be nice please! Im sitting only in this Topic.. ☹️!

      That's definately not true for me. The patch fixed absolutely nothing.

      Maybe AMD is fixed, but for me (Nvidia gtx680) I'm still getting the exact same DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG as before the patch, at the same frequency. I've tried all the fixes reccommended in the thread and elsewhere and nothing works. Rolling back to an older driver seems to stop the error, but it is unplayable due to a frame rate of about 1 frame per second.
