directx function error
Battlefield 1 crash with the same error : DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
All drivers up to date . Windows up to date . And I'm not the only one ! https://forums.battlefield.com/en-us/discussion/38131/dire...
You are not talking to DICE in here, feedback to the developers should be left on the Battlefield.com forums and bug reports we have a bug section for. Answers HQ is a community driven forum it's not a direct DICE developer technical hotline.
As for your issue, it's a pretty generic error that people have gotten in all Frostbite powered games and a lot of others as well, sometimes just on single maps, sometimes just with specific graphics settings or with specific background applications running. People sometimes find their solution but there's many possible solutions out there. Without the information requested the best thing I can do to advice you is to try and look at all the previous solutions people have found and make a list of what you've tried.
I try all what I can find on google . but thanks anyway .
and this is not specific error ! we are too many with this problem !

It's a multipurpose error message, there's no single issue you all are having, there's a bunch of issues which all have the same error message. Some can be troubleshooted and solved, some might be up to Nvidia to fix, some might be up to Dice to fix, some might even be up to Microsoft or someone else to fix. If you want to try and troubleshoot your issue please provide the information requested so both you and the rest of us don't waste our time with things you have already tried or doesn't apply to your computer, otherwise leaving your feedback on Battlefield.com is plenty 🙂
sorry man but classic troubleshooting is ridiculous .
disabling origin in game ?
reinstalling origin ?
try to repair game ?
try to uninstall and then reinstall game ?
reinstall windows ?
reinstall drivers , directx , punkbuster ?
i try all that things ! ands that is a classic answer from EA support chat !
what are they smoking when asking to do people all that things ?
They sell broken product ! They get our money and thats it !
That error means that EA/DICE dont care about us . They produce some game and we will buy cause that is NEW ! Like damn lambs !!!
p.s. and how can you explain that Battlefield 3 and 4 works great on ULTRA settings on my pc ?

When you disabled Origin in game did you to it both in the global application setting and under the game's setting when you right click the BF1 tile and select "show game details"? If not try disabling both. What are your PC specs to include OS? What is the exact wording of the Direct X error that you receive?
Regarding why BF3\4 works great on Ultra but you are having trouble with BF1 they are all different games with different engines and BF1 is more resource intensive than the previous entries.
