There you go guys, the 99.99% solution to this problem !!!!
1. Go to your Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist
2. There DELETE ALL .cab files while leaving the .dll and .exe files (you should have 2 .dll and 1 .exe files)
I am telling you, this will f*cking fix it !!! It's ureal and simple....
----Many different origin games can also be fixed using this guide. (BF3, Fifa)
----For BF3 you have to move your directx folder to __Installer and there delete the files !!!
If want you say is true, why DICE/EA has not mention this "fix" to everyone. Maybe because its not really a fix.

Doesn't work with the GTX 780 for me. Same error. ☹️
Well, your idea is a bust as I already got that update and still having some troubles with DirectX. However I will say that lowing some of the video settings has helped to a certain level. Just last night I only got one DirectX error in 2.5 hours of gaming and that is after I changed some settings.
