Hello @ All
I had the same issue every time i play BF4. For me its not reproducible. It is absolutly sporadic. The Screen freezes an i hear the windows errorbeeb. Then the only thing i can do is to press Crtl+Alt+Del for Taskmanager. And then i can see the error:
DirectX function "GetDeviceRemoveReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The application's device failed due to badly formed commands send by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed."). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti", Driver: 331.93
Since weeks i search for a solution in forums and the hole web. I tryed everything!!!
I have no Xfire or Fraps running and Geforce Experiance is deinstalled = NOT THE PROBLEM
reinstall directX from BF4 folder = NOT WORKED
delet all cab files in directX folder and let Origin repair = NOT WORKED
deinstall and reinstall punkbuster = NOT WORKED
deinstall and reinstall every visual redistributable = NOT WORKED
run Origin as admin = NOT WORKED
run BF4 as admin = NOT WORKED
run both together as admin = NOT WORKED
deactivate origin overlay in BF4 = NOT WORKED
deactivate origin cloud for BF4 = NOT WORKED
completly remove NVIDIA drivers with Driver Sweeper and manual in registry in safe mode an reinstall 331.93 clean = NOT WORKED
When i downclock my GPU @ -34 Mhz the Game seems to be run more stable. But my Card is factory OC. The Card runs in BF4 with Boost @ 1110 Mhz and that ist no Problem for a 780 Ti. Other Games run absolutly stable. It is ridiculous that downclocking the GPU is the only solution to play BF4.

Hey guys,
i bought the game in the beginning of october.
I only can play two or three minutes on a server then I get this error message, too. My hope was that the patches will fixed the problem but they didn't. Now I wait three months and there is still no solution? I get this right?

Hahaha, right.
Did that as well. No change whatsoever.
-Bought a new graphics card MSI BF4 edition R9 280x. How Ironic!
300 Euros just to play this game and it crashes both on my old Nvidia GTX550 and today now on my brand new AMD R9 280x
Whole sundayafternoon is gone. What a load of bullocks.
Origine and Dice just have to come up with a solution or asses wil be fried.(a lawsuit is on its way i have read on the news just now)
I have stil got this message:
DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR("The driver encountered a problem and was put into the device removed state.")
GPU: "AMD Radeon R9 200 Series", Driver: 13.12(13.251-131206a-166389C-ATI)
