Same problem here on Xbox One... Every time I open Battlefield 4 it says Failed to Retrieve Battlepacks, and then I click on multiplayer and it loads for like 30 seconds then says "You have lost the connection to the EA Servers"
I was in a live chat with EA for like 3 hours last night, and they had me restart/unplug my Xbox, reset my modem/router, run some connection mapping test, uninstall/reinstall the game, open some ports on my modem/router, try a wired connection instead of wireless, and NONE of it worked. All he could say was "We are going to escalate it to the game developers".
My NAT is Open. I've been playing BF4 for months with no issues like this, and I was playing earlier last night just fine, turned my Xbox off for a couple hours, came back, and it wasn't working.
Since its happening to me on Xbox One, obviously its not a PSN or Xbox Live issue... must be EA.
