Does multiplayer load PC CPU more than SP?

So I have old Dualcore 5200@3000Mhz. I played singleplayer for 2 hours, CPU was loaded almost 100% all the time, but no problems except freezes NOT during shooting and action, only when talking. I can't play multiplayer for some reason yet.

The question is, will I be able to play MP without problems? 

My system: AMD 7770 HIS, 2x2 DDR2 6400 800, Intel SSD 120.
