DX 12 Full Screen Crashed

When I turn off the DX 12, I can't play full screen. When I make a full screen, the game closes.

What is the cause of this problem?

  • @sqicyy The game is not optimized perfectly for DirectX 12 as far as I know. So, can you please try to disable DirectX 12 in the video settings and see how the game works?

    Thanks!

  • Greetings @sqicyy,

Have you tried any of the suggestions that @IIPrest0nII has recommended for you?

I would also suggest trying to enable DX11, and doing a clean uninstall/reinstall of Battlefield 1.

I apologize for any frustration this is causing.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Hope you had a good weekend.

    Thanks 🙂

  • Sadly, while the game looks gorgeous on DX12, it is not perfectly optimized to run with DX12.

Try playing on Borderless fullscreen. I prefer borderless for multi-tasking.

Edit; mind sharing your PC specs?

    Good luck ☹️
