EA/DICE should issue a RECALL
That's what Battlefield Blog should say.
"First off we here at EA/DICE would like to apologize for the inconveniece we have caused every single one of our customers. We would like to issue a worldwide RECALL for Battlefield 4. Anyone who purchased a copy can bring it to any video game retailer and be issued a full refund."
Anyone who wants a refund should be able to get one at this point, and there 7 Day Great Game Guarantee sucks! I tried that on the 6th day, and they claimed they actually never received my payment so they couldn't refund me at that point in time. Yet I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition a month in advance and the funds were out of my bank the same day I paid..... So classy EA. So so classy. I'll never support this company again because it happens every single game they push out.
Recalls are normally when things can't get fixed or you have to have the physical product to fix it. Battlefield 4 is software and can thus be fixed via patches - that's why you never see software being "recalled".
If the automated refund function don't work you should contact an EA Advisor by going to https://help.ea.com/contact-us
You will have to write some keywords about your problem, then fill out product, category and platform, press “Find Solutions” and then “I Still Need Help”. Then your contact options will appear. If live chat/phone does not appear, it might be closed in your area at the moment and you might consider changing it to: “United States” or something else in the language selector in the bottom of the page for a better result.
