ERROR You were disconnected from EA Online (1)

What changes (if any) did you make before the problems began? Did you update anything such as graphics card? Install any other program?

First do a repair install of both games in Origin.

Make sure your firewall/antivirus is letting both Battlefield games through. Also make sure that Punkbuster is allowed through too.

Also, could you please tell us a bit more about your computer?

I didn't update or install anything before the problem. After the problem I just Uninstall/reinstall the Origin, Unistall/redownload/reinstall only Battlefield 4, Uninstall/reinstall NVIDIA driver (I was using the version 332.21), Uninstall/Reinstall the Punkbuster and update with pbsetup. I use ESET and BF3, BF4, ActivationUI of both and Punkbuster are enable to work.

My setup:

i7 2600

Intel DH67BL

8 GB ram

GTX 680

Windows 8.1 Pro 64bits original and with all updates

Eset Smart Security 7.0.302.26 original and with all updates

4M Internet connection.

PS: I saw on battlelog forum that more players are with the same issue. Can you check and tell me if it is some EA server problem?

I have the same problem here since today 02/05/2014, I use chrome, firefox already tested, changed dns, nothing works. DICE want to play.

Ok, here are some steps you can try that can minimize the occurrence of this problems:

- Uninstall the Plugin (in control panel>uninstall) then delete the containing folder placed in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlelog Web Plugins

Fix for Mozilla FireFox:

- Install the latest plugin
- go to Addons (Firefox menu) -> Plugins
- Search for ESN AND Battlelog
- Set both to: always activated
- close firefox, start it again and it should be fine then

For Chrome:

-Clear Browsing Data ( Settings/Privacy )
-Reinstalling the plugin by logging to Battlelog again
-In the search bar typing the following command: chrome://plugins
-Checking the box Always allowed for ESN Sonar API and Battlelog Game Launcher
-Restarting the Browser
-Log back into Battlelog via Origin (Play from Battlefield4 icon )
-Join a Server

For Internet Explorer 11
-Restart IE 11
-From Internet Options/General tab -> Clear Browsing data -> Delete button
-From Security tab, slide the bar to bottom -> Medium Protection
-In Trusted Sites -> .battlefield.com should be added along with battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/ and battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/
-It will require a System Restart in order for the 7 step to be applied.
-Log in again into Battlelog and download again the plugin.
-Join a server.

Also, try this additional steps, if the above does not work:

1. Open windows firewall
2. Click advanced settings( on the left) and then inbound (also left)
3. Find PnkbstrA.exe and PnkbstrB.exe (if you have two of both, its fine)
4. Right click on each of them>properties>programs and services
5. Make sure that "all programs that meet the specifications" is checked
6. Then go to the "Advanced" tab and check all 3 boxes. Domain, Private and Public.
7. REMEMBER TO DO THIS FOR ALL PnkBstr Files. Then save and quit.
8. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 and delete "Pb" folder.
9. Go to these 2 links:

10. Download and install both
11. Run Pbsetup.exe (the first link)
12. Add a game (eg. bf4)
13. Check for updates.

-Reinstall DirectX.
1:go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist
2:Find file named DXSETUP.exe, right lcik and select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR . Install it. It should update your DirectX install.
3: You might need to reboot computer first.
4: try to launch game.

Still doesn't work then....

-Update your Microsoft .NET framework.

Make sore your drivers and updated.

Get sure that you have disabled all ad and application blocking software in your browser and using the latest version of Adobe Flash.

For Battlefield on PC, please enable the following online ports on your connection:

TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 20000-20100, 22990, 17502, 42127
UDP: 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300

-Are you running the game as Administrator?
-Go to the Origin games folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4) and find Bf4.exe. Right click it and go to PROPERTIES, then COMPATIBILITY and tick the box next to RUN THIS PROGRAM AS ADMINISTRATOR.

Do the same with BF4_x86.exe as well.
Now try the game.

Can't connect, since I received this game. (I played multiplayers twice on monday, wow...)

Did all your stuffs, nothing works and anyway how could all your tricks have something to do with this..

battlelog / battlefield is not finished, it doesn't work at all and it's annoying hearing these tricks, just fix your stuffs EA.

When I buy a game so expansive, finish the solo in 3hours (seriously aren't you ashamed ???§!!!) I expect it to be working on a more than 1000$ brand new computer ! And I'm sitting there like a jerk, looking at the red message "can't connect", seriously, does the game even try to connect?

Is is because I'm on PC ? Or in Europe ? 

Give answers instead of tricks that can damage a computer, Soon you're gonna ask people to reinstall windows in order to play ? 

On steam, or any other games I play I DON'T NEED TO CONTACT SUPPORT ! Because their games work ! 

Hi, these 'tricks' can get most people playing the game when they try them.

And they don't damage your computer (where you got that crazy idea from I don't know!)

Most of the time people cannot connect it is because of badly installed Punkbuster (despite people saying that they have installed it 'correctly'!)

Always check in your TASKMANAGER and go to PROCESSES to see if PnkBstr!.exe is running. If it is not then you have not correctly installed Punkbuster and will be unable to play multiplayer correctly. 

-Reinstall Punkbuster.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 and select pbsv.exe . Choose 'reinstall'

Besides the Punkbuster reinstall these can also help get you back in the game:

- make sure that your firewall/anti virus isn't preventing the game, Punkbuster or Origin from launching.
Also check the quality of your internet connection.

-make sure that you've updated your drivers to the latest version (or if your failure to connect only developed after a recent update, then reinstalling a previous driver can also fix it - note always do a clean install)

-Do a repair install of the game in Origin. In origin right click your game and from drop down choose repair install.

The following will usually fix Battlelog servers issues:

- Make sure you download and install the latest Battlelog plugins

First uninstall old Battlelog plugin by going to "Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features" and removing "battlelog web plugin".
Then log in using Origin and go to battlelog page where you'll be prompted to download latest web plugin.
After you have installed it you should clear your cache, exit your browser. Then restart your browser, and then re-login to Origin to ensure proper install.
If this doesn't work then you should try a different browser (Chrome/Maxthon/Firefox, etc)

-Make sure that you have latest version of flash installed http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?no_redirect

Its always best to do the following:

-Run the game as ADMINISTRATOR.
Go to the Origin games folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4) and find Bf4.exe. Right click it and go to PROPERTIES, then COMPATIBILITY and tick the box next to RUN THIS PROGRAM AS ADMINISTRATOR.
Do the same with BF4_x86.exe as well.

-Disable Origin in game.
In Origin - Application settings - Origin in Game - disable Origin in game

-Run Origin as Administrator
Right click on Origin.exe and go to properties. Then go to compatability tab and tick the box next to RUN AS ADMIN.
